The first album of Ioann Pinzel, “Michelangelo of wooden arts” as call him experts, was published

Concern “Galnaftogaz” and Universalna Investment Group, following their tradition of supporting prominent cultural events, were general partners of the project for publishing the first in Ukraine and the first in Europe album “Ioann George Pinzel. Sculpture. Transformation.”
In June the album presentations were held in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Warsaw, furthermore, the first presentation was held on the 52nd Warsaw Book Fair. It should be mentioned, that in 2007 the album “Jan Jerzy Pinzel” was also published by Polish publishing house BOSZ. “Polish album of works by Master Pinzel, or by “Michelangelo of wooden arts” as call him prominent European art critics,” – says one of the initiators of this project, editor-in-chief of “¯ Magazine” Taras Voznyak, - “was fully financed by the government of Republic of Poland, but Ukrainian appeared thanks to private initiative of Kyiv publishing house ‘Hrani-T’, “¯ Magazine” and financial support from patrons of arts – Concern “Galnaftogaz” and Universalna Investment Group.”
“It is not for the first time that our companies finance significant cultural projects. We already have sufficient experience in this sphere.” – says Director-General of Concern “Galnaftogaz” Yuriy Kuchabskyy. – “However, when we got to know, that Kyiv publishing house prepared for publication the unique album of brilliant Pinzel, we found these publishers and offered them our financial support. Now, every time we show the album to our partners from abroad, they are greatly impressed, because they did not even suspect the existence of such a brilliant master of wooden sculpture.”
This year the album “Ioann George Pinzel. Sculpture. Transformation.’ will be presented on the Book Fairs in Moscow and in Frankfurt-am-Mein.
“Master Pinzel. Return” project aims at popularization of the works of arts and the name of one of the most interesting European sculptors of XVII century.
